Check VERA Retirement Eligibility & Your Estimated FERS Pension

Use our FERS VERA retirement date calculator to determine whether you qualify for retirement under a Voluntary Early Retirement Authority (VERA) offer as a federal employee. This tool helps you assess your eligibility based on your specific age and years of creditable service. Unlike a standard FERS retirement, which is based on your Minimum Retirement Age (MRA), VERA allows you to retire as early as age 50 with at least 20 years of service or at any age with 25 years of service. In addition to determining eligibility, our calculator also estimates the monthly FERS pension you will receive at separation. Under the VERA rules, you qualify for a full pension without reductions or penalties for early retirement. Note: Craft, job title, agency, or department is not factored into VERA eligibility.
